- But from a hacker's standpoint, PCs are better machines. You can
- do *everything* in the lowest level when you run MSDOS
- (multitaskers are not advanced enough to handle games if you don't
- have at least a MACH64 with 2Meg RAM) while the Amiga, although
- can be programmed easier it does limit you to some 'toolbox'-alike
- things.

- About the maths stuff...as a PC game programmer I can't see much
- difference how fast your FPU makes. Almost all maths in games are
- done in INTEGERS. Even when a 'point' is needed the numbers are
- usually represented in 'fixed point' rather than 'floating point'.
- IHMO, anything less than a Digital Alpha 64 CPU sucks when
- calculating floating points in games unless a very advanced
- graphix accelerator is utilized.
